Mondragon Assembly will participate in the new edition of the Solar Forum

8 October, 2024

The Solar Forum will host nearly twenty panel discussions and keynotes, where the most influential professionals and public decision-makers in renewable energy will analyze the current state and future of the sector.

Aitor Apraiz, R&D Project Leader at Mondragon Assembly, will participate as a speaker on October 9 at the XI Solar Forum, the leading national photovoltaic event, organized by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF) on October 9 and 10 at the Marriott Auditorium Hotel in Madrid. On this occasion, Aitor Apraiz will take part in the panel “How does R&D&I facilitate the integration of photovoltaics in buildings, agriculture, and water?” to discuss the challenges of integrated photovoltaics at the level of production machinery.

“Integrated photovoltaics has an enormous untapped potential. The possible applications are infinite, offering a real opportunity to develop alternative business models.”

This will be the XI Edition of the Solar Forum

The Solar Forum will feature 19 panel discussions and keynotes, where the most influential professionals and public decision-makers in renewable energy will analyze the current and future trends of the sector.

Additionally, over the two-day event, the forum will include participation from major companies in the renewable sector, experts in sustainability, regulation, and project financing, as well as representatives from leading national and international institutions.

Key topics that will shape the future of the sector in the coming years will also be addressed, such as advancing the green transition amid price volatility, reviving the self-consumption market, the challenge of social acceptance, or meeting the goals of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC).

Moreover, as in previous years, networking will be a key element of this XI edition of the Solar Forum. UNEF has organized a networking cocktail for all attendees on the evening of October 9.
